Hobo Days

It is 23.1 miles from Algona to Britt. Britt's claim to fame is their annual "Hobo Days" because apparently that town was some sort of hobo haven back in the day. Or maybe it still is. I don't know. I just recognize the sign that boasts the festival and the large cartoonish drawing of a hobo, complete with patches and handkerchief full of stuff on a stick.

Last week, I logged 12 total miles, many thanks to Sahm for working me through an hour of yoga AND 30 minutes of TurboKick with two turbo sections for good punishment. What did I have the week prior? I think 7 miles? maybe 7.5? I'm still not quite to Britt, with 19 or 19.5 miles in. Damn. Well, maybe this week will be better... I had better just get out the Turbokick, cuz this hamsterwheel stuff is taking forever.

First of all, h'ray for 2 new posts! :)
2ndly, i am way jealous of your workout session w/ "SAHM". (not that I could do anything this past weekend)
We need to get a new scale too, but it's not high on my priority list since I get weighed every 2 weeks as it is (on a hospital scale, no less). I'm already all TOO aware of my weight, and today my thighs are crammed into my jeans as a constant reminder. I'm going to go change into sweats so I can stop thinking about them. (bigger pants = my current answer to weight gain)

First of all, I feel AWFUL for every gripe that I ever make on this dumb blog, while you are stuck in bed. 2ndly, I would happily take your place and let you go on actually enjoying exercise and having a fantastic figure that you earned!

And, I think sweatpants are a good solution. At least you have a good reason to have pinchy-pantsitis. Mine is just from sloth and chocolate.
